The overriding criteria for BaCC (Building Active Connected Communities) grants is that the funds have to be utilised for the ‘overall benefit of the community’.
Sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations in the Gordonvale, Cairns, Kuranda, Port Douglas and Mossman postcode areas may apply. Applicants outside of this region will not be eligible for funding under this program.

Grants are open now. The current round of grant applications close on 31st October 2018.
Priority will be given to applications which are considered the greatest benefit to enhancing the wellbeing of the Gordonvale, Cairns, Kuranda, Port Douglas & Mossman communities.
To apply for a grant under the BaCC scheme, complete the application in full.
It is essential that you provide supporting documentation with your application. This may include; quotes, letters confirming team selection, registration fees and information brochures or applications for the event.
If we require further information to assess the grant application, it will be requested by a telephone call or in writing.
Applications will be assessed on the basis of meeting the above criteria. The BaCC board of directors reserves the right to use its discretion in relation to all grant funding applications.
The board's decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
The applicant is encouraged to acknowledge the financial support received from BaCC.
In acknowledging this support, you are informing the community about how public funding is spent. Organisations that are funded for a project may use the following acknowledgement statements:
"This project was proudly funded by Bendigo Bank and BaCC"
"This project was proudly funded by BaCC and the (insert name of other organisation)”
